Thank you to Patrick Kennedy at D Magazine who wrote this incredible article about Urban Acres in the March 2011 issue! We are overwhelmed with thankfulness for all the people who work and volunteer with us, making it possible to support Texas farmers & artisans and bring great food to your table!
Please note: There is one typo in the article in the 4th paragraph: It should say “Every other WEEK” not “Every other month, another $50 gets you a bin filled with 30 pounds of fresh, seasonal produce…” To be clear, our co-op style produce is every other week, so twice a month.
