Urban Acres Fans Are Too Popular – Photo Contest Revised & Extended!

November 3, 2012

So we’ve received only three valid entries for our Urban Acres Photo Contest.  Yes, THREE.

The point of our Urban Acres Photo Contest is to get everyone out there wearin’ their UA shirts and for us to give away a very cool prize – a KitchenAid Stand Mixer just in time for Thanksgiving.  What we didn’t realize was how popular our fans are!  If you know everyone in Dallas already – which apparently most of you do – then it’s very difficult to take a photo with a stranger.  It’s not easy being green! 🙂

So we’ve changed the rules to the game.

How To Enter

NEW RULES

  1. While you’re wearing your Urban Acres rooster t-shirt, take a photo of you + your favorite fruit or veggie.
  2. Post the photo on our Urban Acres Facebook page, or email it to us at info@urbanacresmarket.com.

OLD RULES (those who followed these rules or who still want to follow them will get a DOUBLE ENTRY in the contest!)

  1. While you’re wearing your Urban Acres rooster t-shirt, take a photo of you + a stranger.  That means someone you do not already know – honor system!
  2. Post the photo on our Urban Acres Facebook page, or email it to us at info@urbanacresmarket.com.

Contest deadline EXTENDED to midnight on Saturday, November 17th.

One submission per person.

Don’t already have a shirt?  Members log in here and go to our webstore to order, or purchase one at our store in Oak Cliff.

The Winner

Grand Prize: Brand new KitchenAid 5-Quart Stand Mixer in the color of the winner’s choice  (see color options here on the KitchenAid website).

We’ll use random.org to randomly select one photo winner on Sunday, November 18th.

Hurry and submit your photo and you may have a new KitchenAid stand mixer for Thanksgiving!

Here are the valid entries we’ve received so far…

And here’s an example of what NOT to send us – a shopping cart is neither a stranger or a fruit/veggie.  Come on, people!
