Beautiful local radishes from Morrison Organic Farm

The local, organic radishes we’ve had lately from Morrison Organic Farm are so tasty.  If you like them raw, try making a butter and radish sandwich.

If you want to eat them cooked, try this for a super easy side dish…

Steamed Radishes

Ingredients:

1 bunch of local, organic radishes
Water
Butter
Sea salt
Black pepper

Directions:

Slice off the tips of radishes, then slice them in half, or leave the smaller ones whole.  In a steamer basket on the stovetop, steam them for about 20-30 minutes or until fork-tender all the way through.

Pour the steamed radishes into a big bowl and while still hot, toss with farm butter, sea salt, and cracked black pepper.

Yes, that’s all!  Simple, delicious, farm-fresh goodness.
