Nitschke Natural Beef Steaks & Dry Rub for Mother’s Day

Mother’s Day is this weekend – how about grilling some delicious 100% grass-fed beef steaks for the fam?  Stop by the store where we’re fully stocked on local Oak Cliff family’s Nitschke Natural Beef in a variety of cuts.  Take your steak to the next level with this dry rub from Lauren Nitschke herself…

Nitschke Natural Beef Hanger & Flat Iron Steak Smoky Dry Rub

(Yields 2/3 cup – easily enough for 6 steaks)

1/4 cup chili powder
2 Tbsp smoked paprika
1 Tbsp kosher salt
1 Tbsp ground cumin
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp oregano leaves
1 tsp ground black pepper

Brush steaks with oil. Sprinkle each generously with Dry Rub.  Grill steak 2–3 minutes per side or to desired doneness. Don’t overcook or these cuts will become tough. Let rest 5 minutes.
