Luckie’s Smokehouse Experiments with Grass-Fed Brisket

February 13, 2011

We’ve been chatting with our new friends across the street at Luckie’s Smokehouse about offering some sustainable meat options on their menu.  Then, this past Friday, one of our beef ranchers brought us a 15.6 lb whole brisket that had never been frozen.  We took it over to Luckie’s, and they smoked it to perfection!  We carved up that big guy last night and are very excited to report that it was one of the best grass-fed briskets we’ve ever had.  Hopefully we can see it on the menu at Luckie’s soon.  In the meantime, we hope you’ll join us in welcoming our neighbors at Luckie’s to The Cliff by enjoying a great meal on their huge patio deck.
