Skillet BBQ Chicken

Seasoning: (double depending on how much chicken you’re cooking)

  • 1/2 teaspoon Real Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon Chili Powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon Pepper


Combine flour and seasoning into a paper bag. Add chicken and shake it, shake it! Heat oil in the skillet and brown the seasoned chicken on both sides.

While the chicken is browning, start cooking the chopped onion with the butter for about 3 minutes in a separate pan. Begin mixing sauce ingredients into the pan after once the onions have cooked. Pour sauce over the chicken and cover with a lid letting it simmer for 45 minutes. Add water if it gets too thick.

Serve with garlic mashed potatoes and baked asparagus for a delicious dinner! Remember, a majority of these ingredients are sold at the Urban Acres Farm Store!
